This is week three of our monthlong roundup of Central Arkansas Sunday brunch establishments (with an occasional nod toward places that also/or serve brunch on Saturdays).
Each week we've been focusing on a different portion of the metropolitan area -- this week, it's west Little Rock and places in the far west of west Little Rock. Week four's focus takes us to spots north of the Arkansas River. (If the time and resources someday become available, we may consider listings like these from the booming restaurant scenes in Conway, Benton and -- while we're dreaming -- maybe Hot Springs. A food writer's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for?)
To recap the rules and regs: We're keeping things simple by just listing restaurant names, addresses, hours of operation (where they differ from the "official" 10 a.m.-2 p.m. brunch span), phone numbers and web addresses where folks can go to get menu and other information.
The listing is meant to be as inclusive as possible; we're not including places that serve breakfast separately from lunch or brunch, and we're leaving out chain places (e.g., IHOP and Cracker Barrel -- and yes, Big Bad Breakfast and Buttered Biscuit are technically chains, but they're locally owned and/or operated, and besides, we're making this up as we go along).
And yes, we're aware that we likely have been leaving some restaurants out, not on purpose -- it's inadequate research, not anything deriving from nefarious or ill intent. (And if the establishment you own or favor somehow got skipped, though we are making no promises, we might be able to plug in a list of such places at the end of the month.)
