The former Philadelphia Eagles player explained that he's looking forward to going "full gray" in the future
The former Philadelphia Eagles player, 37, revealed in a teaser clip for an upcoming episode of New Heights that his daughter, Ellie Kelce, teased him about the gray hairs in his beard during an innocent game of "I Spy."
"Ellie last night, we were playing "I Spy." [I say,] "I spy something green," and Ellie says, "I spy something white!" I'm like, "What?" And she's like [pointing at my beard]. It was good," he told his brother and co-host, Travis Kelce.
Travis couldn't help but agree with his niece's observation. "It is getting white at the bottom," he told Jason, who was unbothered by the comment.
"Those corners are getting in. I can't wait until I'm full on white. You've known this for a long time," he told his younger brother. "I want to be full gray. I'm in dude."
"I think it's coming, dude," Travis replied. Jason, welcoming the change, added, "Oh, it's definitely coming."
Jason has been transparent about his graying hair in past episodes of New Heights. On the Aug. 27 episode of the podcast, Jason revealed that he had a dye mishap while planning a "bit" for his beverage brand, Garage Beer.
"I came out of the shower, immediately I looked like Billy Mays," the former football center joked. "I was gonna do this bit where we go back in time, so I wanted to be younger."
He continued, "Initially, I was going to shave my beard completely, and then I was like, 'Yeah I'm not doing that, I hate my face too much. So, I'm gonna keep the beard but I'll dye it to make me look younger.' But we didn't play chemistry very well and I ended up coming out a little darker than I was expecting."

While the dye wasn't permanent -- as evidenced by his fresh grays in the latest New Heights episode -- Jason found himself wanting his gray hair back. "I miss my grays," he told Travis. "I can't wait for this to grow back out.
"It is kind of growing on me, though. I do feel like I look pretty good with the dark beard," Jason added, noting that he "didn't do it out of vanity, I did it for a bit, that's all I'm saying."
