A violent weekend in Seattle as police investigate a person found dead at Baker Park in the Ballard neighborhood with gunshot wounds.
Around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, police were called about an unresponsive person near the intersection of Northwest 85th Street and 14th Avenue Northwest.
When police arrived they found a person with gunshot wounds lying on the walkway. Shortly after Seattle Fire arrived, the person was pronounced dead.
Police do not have any other information about the shooting and do not have any suspects in custody.
Detectives from the Homicide Investigation Unit have taken over the investigation.
