Sicamous has two more pre-season tilts before it drops the puck on the regular season at home on Sept. 19
Madox Fisher scored the only goal of a four-round shootout and the Sicamous Eagles soared to a 3-2 win over the visiting Kamloops Storm in KIJHL pre-season action on Sept. 5.
Riley Enns and Crosby Hollinshead scored the only goals of regulation for Sicamous, which surrendered a 2-1 lead at 12:57 of the third period before playing through the scoreless overtime.
Eagles goaltender Jaidyn Shaw earned the win after making a whopping 53 saves.
Joshua Nuttall and Kane Gerrard split time in Kamloops' net, stopping 10 and 13 saves, respectively.
Mattias Holte scored twice for the Storm.
Sicamous' pre-season slate resumes Sept. 9, when the club visits Chase. Exhibition play for the Eagles wraps up on Sept. 10, with a road showdown against the Kelowna Chiefs.
The team's 2025-2026 regular season starts at home on Sept. 19, against the Revelstoke Grizzlies.
