FAIRFIELD -- Suzanne Bruce, Fairfield poet laureate emerita, is accepting poems for the current Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association exhibit, "America."
The exhibit is at the Solano Town Center Gallery, 1350 Travis Blvd., D-8.
"Choose a piece of art from the show and write a poem to accompany it," Bruce said in a statement. Poems must be 42 lines or fewer.
The art reception and poetry reading will be 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Solano Town Center Gallery. The exhibit runs through Sept. 27.
