The Broncos snatched victory from the Roosters in the dying minutes of the NRLW grand final courtesy of a barnstorming run by powerhouse centre Mele Hufanga -- but the jury is out on whether the try should have received the green light.
Hufanga was deemed to have planted the ball after bashing over the try line with four minutes remaining on the clock to steal the lead for Brisbane, who ultimately won the game at Sydney's Accor Stadium 22-18.
But replays left major doubt as to whether the ball had actually made contact with grass as Hufanga, in a wrestle with two defenders, tried to ground the footy.
A nasty melee broke out immediately after full-time.
"It is up, it is up, it is up," Ruan Sims said as a replay of the try was shown.
Roosters coach John Strange was clearly unhappy when asked about the try in his post-game press conference.

"Did you see it touch the grass?" he asked journalists.
"There is probably a bit of guess work. Belinda (Sharpe, the referee) is always going to send it up as a try and then it's hard to overturn... it is what it is, the decision was made on the run.
"The girls in there said they had their hands under the ball and it didn't touch (the grass)."
