Preview: Oklahoma State at Arizona

Cowboys head west for their first Big 12 road test under interim coach Doug Meacham, facing a 3-1 Arizona squad in Tucson.

Oklahoma State (1-3, 0-1 Big 12) hits the road Saturday for its first conference trip of the 2025 season, facing Arizona (3-1, 0-1) at Arizona Stadium in Tucson. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. CT (12 p.m. local) on TNT Sports, with J.B. Long, Mike Golic Jr. and Jared Greenberg on the broadcast. The game will also be simulcast on truTV and HBO Max and carried live on the Cowboy Radio Network.

This will be the 10th all-time meeting between Oklahoma State and Arizona in a series that dates back to 1931. The Cowboys hold a narrow 5-4 advantage overall, but Arizona owns a 4-1 edge in games played in Tucson. The programs last met in 2012, when Arizona claimed a 59-38 victory at home.

Saturday marks the first-ever conference matchup between the two schools, as Arizona enters its inaugural season in the Big 12. OSU interim head coach Doug Meacham is in his second game leading the Cowboys, while Arizona's Brent Brennan will be facing Oklahoma State for the first time.

The most memorable meeting came in the 2010 Alamo Bowl, when Oklahoma State beat Arizona 36-10. Justin Blackmon hauled in nine catches for 117 yards and two touchdowns, while Brandon Weeden threw for 244 yards and two scores. That win secured OSU's first 11-win season in school history.

A win would give Oklahoma State its second all-time victory in Tucson, even the series at 5-5, and steady the Cowboys after a difficult start to the season. For Arizona, it's a chance to strengthen its Big 12 debut campaign and continue momentum under Brennan.
