News 2 Gives Back: Mt. Juliet 911 dispatchers

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) -- 911 dispatchers are called a lot of things including lifesavers, heroes, counselors, and now they are officially considered first responders. Mt. Juliet city leaders recently voted for the upgraded job classification.

A growing city means more fire, police, and emergency medical calls. To show appreciation for all they do our News 2 Gives Back team took lunch to the dispatch center. While there, Marcus Bagwell spoke with Mt. Juliet Chief of Police Michael Mullins about the changes.
