NAPA -- Lucky Penny Productions, on the heels of receiving 25 nominations from the Arty Awards, opens it second show of the 2024-25 season, "Women in Jeopardy."
This comedy finds two divorcees suspicious that a friend is in a relationship with a serial killer and follows their adventures as they try to save her.
The cast is led by Taylor Bartolucci and Sarah Lundstrom, and also includes John Browning, LC Arisman, Mateo Escobedo and Emma Sutherland.
Stage direction is by Alexander Gomez, with costuming by Bartolucci and Allison Sutherland, lighting by Olivia Macloud, and scenic design by Barry Martin and Alexander Gomez.
Performances begin Friday and run through Nov. 3. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lucky Penny Community Arts Center, 1758 Industrial Way.
Thursday performances are Pay-What-You-Can for seats that remain available at curtain time.

The Artys recognize achievements in theater in Napa and Solano counties.
"The Addams Family Musical" and "Almost, Maine" each received nine nominations. "The Sound of Music" received seven.
Designers for Lucky Penny were recognized with seven nominations, directors and choreographers received seven, and eight nominations went to actors.
"Almost, Maine" was nominated as Outstanding Comedy/Drama, and both "The Addams Family Musical" and "The Sound of Music" are up for Outstanding Musical. The Arty Awards will be presented Oct. 20 in Vacaville.
