Newton-Kittatinny had four first-place finishers to take the top spot in the team race at the 2025 Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference Girls Championship, in Vernon.
Newton-Kittatinny finished with 158 points while Vernon took second with 97 points and Morris Hills placed third with 91 points. Newton-Kittatinny's upper weights led the way, as they went 4-for-5 in championship finals between 140 pounds and 187.
Eva Barry captured the 140-pound crown with a pin over Olive Rhodes (Parisppany Hills-Parsippany). Stella Ramos recorded a pin over High Point's Kayley Bruner in the 154-pound final. Paige DeCaro pinned Boonton's Samira Kupa at 167, and Brianna Murray earned the 187-pound title with a pin over Vernon's Rowan Waite.
Abby Paglia (237), and Kameko Sibblies (109) took second for Newton-Kittatinny while Emma Eigner took third at 128.
The host team had a pair of champs in Caitlin Hart (237), and Lily Henderson (109).
Morris Hills' Emelly Diaz Santos won the 102-pound title, High Point's Elle Changaris took first at 116, Sparta's Paige Weiss took the top spot at 122, Kinnelon's Polina Shardakova-Scorzafava won at 128, Montville's Sophia Massefski captured the 134-pound crown and Boonton's Julia Fongaro took first at 147.
