Hosting a Softball Regional is nothing new in Tucson, but the Wildcats came up short for the first time in over a decade. Over the weekend the Wildcats found themselves in a heavyweight fight trilogy with the Ole Miss Rebels. Losing the first matchup, the Wildcats won their way back into the finals that found them in a Sunday doubleheader with the Rebels. While the Cats would win the first one of the day, they couldn't keep their win streak alive and fell to Ole Miss 7-3, ending their season and seeing seniors like Devyn Netz walk out of Hillenbrand Stadium one last time.
