Our Nordstrom expert found the best deals from Free People, Spanx, and more -- up to 73 percent off.
Sadly, that means the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finished, but the good news is that the department store always has some discounts up its sleeves. Even now, post-sale, over 46,000 items are discounted and the deals go as little as $4.
Fall fashion from Free People and other brands are still marked down, while other chilly dressing essentials like warm socks, sweater skirts, and more are seeing discounts up to 73 percent off. I make a living covering the best Nordstrom deals, so trust me when I say this: It's basically like the Anniversary Sale all over again.
Free People, Hoka, BaubleBar, and more brands are on sale at Nordstrom, so here's your second chance to grab everything from slip-on shoes to Staub cast iron skillets. Accessories are also available in heaps, including affordable BaubleBar bracelets and hands-free crossbody bags for half-off.
I've never been a leggings girl, but the prices on these Spanx and Zella leggings are just too good to pass up. The former brand has made its mark on editors and celebrities alike, while the latter pair is "very soft" and "thicker than other brands," according to shoppers. I do, however, love wide-leg jeans and NYDJ and Madewell have markdowns on fall-ready pairs, so you may see me trying on one of those next. Finally, shorts are my favorite kind of loungewear even in the winter, and this elastic-waist pair comes in an autumn-forward brown.
It seems like everything I buy these days has polka dots on it. Continuing with that theme, I'm doting on this flutter-sleeve dress that I envision styling with a pair of black tights and boots in colder weather. This loose blue skirt also surprised me since it looks like the denim skirts that celebrities wear, only way, way more comfortable. I'm mulling over sweater skirts and sweater dresses, too, since they're stylish, warm, and up to 60 percent off, respectively.
I'm always buying jackets. Why? They make any base outfit look and feel brand new. I had no idea Vuori even made dressy-looking toppers like this one, which, frankly, looks like it should cost more than it does. Leather jackets are by far my most-worn style though. I stole my brother's black one, and I suspect he's itching to get it back, so I need a replacement. This Sam Edelman layer has patch pockets, and therefore, is a pretty prospect.
I also did a happy dance when I found this striped sweater -- it reminds me of one I just saw Jennifer Garner wear -- and this under-$40 sweater that has my favorite type of sleeves.
All this talk about fall has me determined to enjoy the last few weeks of summer. How am I going to do that? By prancing around in these buttercream-colored Havaianas flip-flops before I have to bundle up in thick socks (these ones are just $4!) and closed-toe loafers.
I've also been exploring slip-on shoes since my dad just got a new pair, and they're practically glued to his feet. These hands-free ones from Hoka, a podiatrist-approved brand, look extra cushiony, and they're under $85. Tory Burch and New Balance also have a range of styles for less that I want expeditiously -- like, seriously, how are these slingback pumps 60 percent off?
I'm not a big color person, but as the weather grows gloomier, I'll want to brighten things up with the help of fun accessories like this BaubleBar tennis bracelet that's 25 percent off. Another option? A fun tote bag. This one from Naghedi (which Mindy Kaling recently wore and promptly tagged in an Instagram story) is super sunny and convenient for carrying extra fall layers like cozy scarves for unpredictable weather.
I also saw these designer Coach earrings for 60 percent off -- the highest discount in this bunch -- along with this Marc Jacobs bag that has "very discrete logos," according to one shopper, for $118 off.
