The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has labeled Sam Pitroda as the "foreign face" of the Congress party, alleging that his remarks reflect the party's anti-India mindset.

VHP national spokesperson Vinod Bansal said in a post on X on Saturday, "For someone whose heart lies in Pakistan, where Hindu killings are routine, jihad factories operate, and anti-India rhetoric is daily discourse, it is natural for Sam Pitroda to feel at home there."
Bansal asserted that Pakistan is a place "where every anti-India and anti-Hindu statement is cheered, where Congress leaders' remarks are quoted in Parliament and international forums to attack India." He asked, "If not home, would such a place not feel like Pakistan to Pitroda?"
Taking aim at Congress, he said the party seems unfazed by Pakistan-backed terrorism that killed innocents in the 26/11 attacks, massacred Hindus in Pahalgam, and continues cross-border firing while fueling forced conversions and attacks on temples. "Our crown, Kashmir, has been largely occupied, and attempts are still on to grab what remains. India had to bring the CAA because of relentless atrocities on minorities there," he added.
On the silence of Congress leadership, Bansal asked: "Why are Rahul, Priyanka, Robert, Sonia, and INDIA bloc leaders quiet on their mentor's remarks? Do they agree with him? Is their silence acceptance?"
He also recalled Rahul Gandhi's earlier statement that he wanted to "fight the Indian state," questioning if the Congress now stands against the sovereignty of the nation itself. "This is not just a statement but a mirror to Congress' deeper mindset, which every Indian must recognize," he said.
