Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Divorce: Co-Parenting Plan Revealed as Tour Continues

Nicole Kidman has officially filed for divorce from Keith Urban. The actress submitted the petition on September 30, 2025. The split ends their 19-year marriage.

The couple had been living separately since the beginning of the summer. According to Reuters, they reached a private co-parenting agreement for their two daughters prior to the filing.

Court documents confirm the separation date as the day of filing. The divorce is based on irreconcilable differences. Neither party will receive alimony or spousal support.

A permanent parenting plan was also filed. Kidman will be the primary residential parent for their daughters, Sunday and Faith. The children will spend 306 days a year with their mother.

Urban will have the children for 59 days annually. The agreement stipulates that neither parent will pay child support. Both have committed to not speaking poorly of each other.

The breakup follows several public hints over the summer. Urban abruptly left a radio interview in July when asked about Kidman. He also changed lyrics to a song he wrote for her during a recent tour performance.

Kidman was spotted without her wedding ring in late September. However, she had applied for residency in Portugal earlier in the summer, with Urban planning to do the same. Their last public appearance together was in June.
