Cowboys to host Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs in Thanksgiving game on CBS

The Thanksgiving table is set and the Dallas Cowboys will be hosting the Kansas City Chiefs on November 27 at 4:30 p.m. ET. This Week 13 game, airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ marks the first start for Patrick Mahomes at AT&T Stadium against the Cowboys. The last time the Chiefs visited Arlington, Mahomes was a rookie and back up to Alex Smith with Dallas coming out with the win over KC 28-17.

The last meeting of the two teams was 2021 in Kansas City in a game where neither Mahomes or Prescott threw a touchdown that saw the Chiefs winning 19-9.

Both teams face a tough schedule this season with both meeting up against 10 teams each that were in the playoffs in 2024.

While the Cowboys have been playing on Thanksgiving day since 1966, It will be the first time since 2006 for the Chiefs. The Cowboys are 34-22-1 and the Chiefs are right at .500 with a 5-5 record on the holiday.
