Liverpool Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace for October 5

Liverpool Predicted Lineup Vs Crystal Palace for October 5

Liverpool play Crystal Palace on October 5. The match takes place from Selhurst Park with Arne Slot hoping to continue the momentum with five wins in his last five. Here is our Liverpool predicted lineup.

Liverpool have lined up with a 4-2-3-1 formation under Arne Slot. Alisson Becker is the number one. Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are left-back and right-back respectively. Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk are the two centre-backs, with Jarell Quansah starting just once since the season opener, and that was in the EFL Cup.

Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and Dominik Szoboszlai play in a successful midfield three. Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah are the prolific wingers. Darwin Nunez started the last match though Diogo Jota was substituted on for the Uruguayan and has started all but two this season.

Harvey Elliott fractured his foot in the last international break with England U21s.

Jota did not start against Bologna due to an issue with his foot that he picked up against his former side, Wolves. However, he played thirty minutes against the Italian outfit, and it seemed like more of a precaution than a problem. Furthermore, it makes sense that Nunez needed the playtime to boost his form anyway, with just 134 league minutes this season. We expect the Portuguese to start against Crystal Palace, though it wouldn't be surprising to see Nunez retain his place.
