Merab vs. Petr Yan 2 headlines UFC 323, Henry Cejudo and Jan Blachowicz join stacked Dec. 6 PPV card

Jesse Holland is among the longest-tenured media professionals in the combat sports news space, covering MMA, professional wrestling and boxing on a full-time basis since early 2004.

UFC CEO Dana White revealed a couple of big fights for the upcoming UFC 323 pay-per-view (PPV) event, recently made official for Sat., Dec. 6, 2025 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among them was the bantamweight championship headliner between Merab Dvalishvili and Petr Yan, a rematch from their UFC Las Vegas main event that saw "The Machine" unplug "No Mercy" across all five rounds.

That's not all.

As expected, flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja will defend his 125-pound strap against red-hot division contender Joshua Van in the UFC 323 co-main event, also scheduled for five, five-minute rounds. In addition, Henry Cejudo returns to bantamweight for a main card scrap opposite Payton Talbott, while former light heavyweight champion, Jan Blachowicz, goes head-to-head with 205-pound bruiser Bogdan Guskov.

UFC 323 is expected to mark the final numbered event before transitioning the the Paramount+ network, with select cards airing on CBS, at the beginning of 2026.
