COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - One person is dead following an early morning apartment fire on Christmas Day in Columbus.
Firefighters responded to a call just after 5AM at an apartment complex on Old Macon Road near Reese Road.
Authorities with the Columbus Fire Department state one person died and a dozen people have been displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The identity of the person killed in the fire has not yet been released.
