Inside Chinese Taipei Little League World Series team: Complete roster, more to know about Asia-Pacific squad

Representing the event's Asia-Pacific Region, Chinese Taipei has rolled through the 2025 Little League World Series and is the only undefeated international team left in the tournament.

With a 7-3 victory over Venezuela, the squad from Tung-Yuan Little League advanced to the International Championship Game on Saturday afternoon. It is now looking to become the first team from Chinese Taipei to win a Little League World Series title since 1996.

Tung Yuan's roster features a number of great arms, but one phenom in particular stands out for his blazing fastball. Can Chinese Taipei ride its stellar pitching to a championship in Williamsport?

Here's a look at the players and coaches from Tung-Yuan Little League.

The roster for Tung-Yuan Little League is comprised of 13 players, who range from 4-foot-11" to 5-foot-8. The team also has a ton of versatility, with 11 players being able to man multiple positions.

Like many of the teams from Chinese Taipei in years past, the Tung-Yuan squad has a bevy of power arms and plays solid, fundamental defense. One of the stories of the tournament so far has been Lin Chin-Tse, who has blown away hitters with a fastball that has topped out at 82 mph (the MLB equivalent of 107 mph when adjusting for mound distance).

As is customary for Little League World Series teams, Tung-Yuan has a staff of three coaches. The trio is attempting to lead Chinese Taipei to its record 18th Little League World Series title.

Tung-Yuan earned the right to represent the Asia Pacific region at the Little League World Series by winning its regional tournament. The team went 6-1 in its bracket and defeated South Korea's North Seoul B Little League 3-0 in the title game to punch its ticket to Williamsport.

This year marks the fourth straight trip to Williamsport for Chinese Taipei. It is also be the 33rd time overall that Chinese Taipei has appeared in the Little League World Series.

Chinese Taipei has won 17 Little League World Series titles, the most of any country or U.S. region. The first of those titles came in 1969, when Taichung Little League of Taichung City, Taiwan defeated Briarwood Little League of Santa Clara, California in the championship.

Chinese Taipei won five straight Little League World Series titles from 1977-1981 and five out of six titles from 1986-1991 (the only blemish was in 1989, when a team from Trumbull, Connecticut defeated Kaohsiung, Taiwan in the title game). The region's last title came in 1996.
