Richmond police arrest 2 in suspected drug operation

RICHMOND, IN -- Richmond police arrested two people Tuesday after executing a search warrant at an apartment in the 1000 block of North C Street.

Officials said they found a drug operation, seizing more than 250 grams of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, other drug paraphernalia, a firearm, cash and silver bars.

Crystal Ray, 43, of the 300 block of West National Road in Richmond, was taken into custody and, on Wednesday, Aug. 20, was charged in Wayne Superior Court 1 with possession of methamphetamine greater than 28 grams, a Level 3 felony, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Seneca Grier, 38, of the 200 block of South 12th Street in Richmond, was charged Wednesday with a Level 2 felony of dealing methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

The Richmond Police Department worked jointly alongside the Wayne County Sheriff's Department for the investigation, officials said.
