Not for the first time, Cheslin Kolbe has endured jibes about his height by his fellow Springbok pals, including captain Siya Kolisi.

The winger - who stands at 1,7m tall - has spoken about being doubted over his abilities due to his physical appearance.

Following the Springboks' defeat of Argentina - and retaining the Rugby Championship title - players used their downtime abroad to sightsee and socialise with each other.

Pals RG Snyman, Eben Etzebeth, Lood de Jager, Siya Kolisi, and Cheslin Kolbe posted pictures of their time together, out on the London streets.

Snyman - the tallest Springbok in the squad - poked fun at Kolbe by posting a series of images featuring just his head.

Another post saw Siya Kolisi tease his shorter pal. "Four and a half men", the captain laughed at Kolbe.

While Cheslin Kolbe no doubt laughed along with his fellow Springboks, he has spoken previously of how his height was perceived as a stumbling block.

He told SA Rugby Mag in 2021: "Looking back now, I honestly never thought that I would come this far in my rugby career because of all the challenges I faced at a young age.

He continued: "Being told that I'm too small, I'm too light. I'll never be able to play against the bigger boys, especially in South Africa, and obviously the guys from New Zealand."

Meanwhile, Cheslin Kolbe addressed his match blunders this test match season, which saw him make headlines for all the wrong reasons.

He shared in an Instagram post: "A tough season with some unexpected bloopers, but full of lessons. Grateful to finish with a win and injury-free. Things don't always go how we want, but God never fails."
