Ecovacs has launched its new flagship robot vacuum, the Deebot X11 OmniCyclone, in Australia with a retail price of $2,999.
First showcased at IFA Berlin, the model combines faster charging, stronger suction and a bagless base station.
The X11 debuts PowerBoost fast-charging, which utilises Gallium Nitride bursts during mop-wash breaks to top up about 6 per cent of the battery in three minutes.
Ecovacs claims this enables cleaning coverage of up to 1,000 square metres in a single run.
A key change is the OmniCyclone Station, promoted as the world's first bagless auto-empty dock.
The station utilises cyclonic separation to eliminate the need for dust bags, while incorporating hot-water mop washing and heated drying. The 1.6-litre bin can go for around 48 days before it needs emptying.
Cleaning hardware has also been upgraded.
The Ozmo Roller 2.0 applies 3,800Pa of downward pressure, BLAST suction delivers 19,500Pa, and TruEdge 3.0 improves coverage along corners and edges.
The TruePass four-wheel drive system also lets the unit cross thresholds up to 4cm, addressing a common pain point for robot vacuums.
AI features include Agent Yiko, Ecovacs' updated voice assistant, which acts as an on-device cleaning manager. It can map rooms, recommend routines and guide users through fixes.
Backed by AIVI 3D object recognition, the system adapts cleaning paths to avoid obstacles such as cables, pets, and moving furniture.
With a bagless dock, quick charging and higher suction, Ecovacs is targeting busy households willing to pay for a user-friendly cleaning system at the top end of the market.
The Deebot X11 OmniCyclone is available now from JB Hi-Fi and other major retailers.
A cheaper X11 Pro Omni version is also available for $2,699. It can be ordered from Ecovacs' website or Amazon.
