HoYoverse has announced the next Genshin Impact livestream, which will showcase the content players can expect to see in Version Luna II (6.1 under the traditional naming scheme).
The key art for Luna II clearly shows that we'll continue the story where we left it in Luna I -- the rebirth of Rerir, one of the Five Sinners, is complete, but our efforts to sabotage the process paid dividends by leaving him less powerful than he might otherwise have been. At the end of Luna I, Varka confronted Rerir in a cliffhanger. With Durin, Nefer, and Arlecchino (yet another figure with a connection to the moons) coming into the picture as well, things are about to get interesting.

As pointed out above, several additional characters are getting in on the action in Nod-Krai -- and going by the poster, the conflict will center around Columbina and Rerir. The Sinner might be on the lookout for an alternate power source due to the Traveler's sabotage of his rebirth, potentially making the Moon Maiden an attractive target. Whatever may happen, the livestream is going to give us the rundown.
The broadcast will also introduce the gameplay mechanics for Nefer, the sole character to be added during Version Luna II.
