Rebecca and Oli Smith have been running art material and framing shop 'Artcetera' since 2020.
However, the shop has been running on Christchurch Road in Boscombe since 1970, thanks to the ongoing support of customers travelling from locally and afar.
Rebecca said: "We're very busy. We're lucky to be very busy - we've got a long standing client base, having been in the same location doing the same thing for so long.

"We've got lots of repeat business but we've also still got people coming in saying 'oh we didn't know you were here - I only live around the corner!' So that's really nice."
Artcetera isn't just an art shop - it also has a on-site workshop for high quality, hand finished framing for items including artwork, 3D objects and memorabilia.
Canvas services include fully bespoke cotton and linen stretching, as well as more budget-friendly options.

And, in order to offer something for all, the shop offers art supplies for all budgets, catering for students, beginners and expert artists.
Running Artcetera is extra special for this couple, who have a real passion for its roots.
Oli first worked at the shop as a Saturday boy, before going to university to do photography.
Then, when he returned from university, he continued working at Artcetera.

Now running the shop themselves, the couple have carried out renovation works to refresh the store, having taken over just as lockdown hit at a time when they were unable to open to customers.
But this period of closure didn't stop Artcetera - it has been open for more than 50 years, standing strong through many turbulent times including various recessions, the pandemic and the cost of living crisis.
Oli said: "Mainly it's word of mouth - word of mouth for over half a century - longer than any of us have been alive.
"People came in with their kids, who have grown up, and they've come in with their kids - people come in now and talk to us as owners , saying they came in to buy something before I was even born. It blows my mind."
