If you're in the market for a new smartphone but don't fancy shelling out for a top-of-the-range model, Amazon may have just the deal for you. The online retail giant has just unveiled an offer that allows customers to snap up a Samsung Galaxy A16 for a mere £113 here.

Despite its budget price tag, this phone boasts a host of impressive features, including a large 6.7-inch Super Amoled display and a sleek design available in Light Grey or Light Green, which can withstand the typical British rain.

The device also comes equipped with a triple-lens rear camera boasting Ultra Wide and Macro capabilities, as well as a 13MP front-facing camera for capturing all those essential selfies.

A sizeable 5,000mAh battery is included, which should comfortably last a day and can be quickly recharged if needed.

Additional features include an Octa-core processor and six years of OS upgrades, reports the Express.

At £113, this device represents a solid deal, especially when compared to a number of retailers who are selling the A16 for over £160.

However, there are a few factors to bear in mind before hitting the buy button. The device isn't compatible with the latest 5G data speeds so only 4G access is available.

Its processor won't match the power found in premium devices such as the Galaxy S25 Ultra either.

It also only comes with a relatively modest 4GB of RAM, compared to 12GB in most flagship models. Furthermore, Samsung has discontinued the A16, replacing it with the upgraded Galaxy A17.

The Galaxy A16 may not be designed for power users, but at a tempting £119, it's an ideal choice for those seeking a second phone or a device for their children.

Prime members should keep an eye out for more deals over the coming days. The online giant has announced a major Prime Day Deals event starting from Tuesday, October 7.
