Juan Soto returns to Yankee Stadium -- How to watch first Subway...

The day Mets and Yankees fans have been waiting for this season is finally here: the first Subway Series of the 2025 MLB season begins tonight.

This year's Subway Series certainly has a main character; former Yankee and current Met Juan Soto will return to Yankee Stadium for the first time since joining the Mets this season.

The star right fielder will certainly get booed by the Yankee Stadium crowd during at bats and when he's playing the field, but Soto is staying cool, calm, and collected, telling The Post, "I think the fans are gonna be loud, it's gonna be exciting, so I'm expecting the best."

Last year, the Mets won all four Subway Series matchups in a season that saw both teams reach their respective league championship series (the Yankees, of course, went on to fall in the World Series).

This weekend's three-game series gets started tonight. Here's everything you need to know.

The first Mets vs. Yankees game of the season is today, May 16, at 7:05 p.m. ET.

If you live in the Mets and Yankees television market (New York, New Jersey, parts of Eastern Pennsylvania, and Connecticut), you can watch today's game on both WPIX (Mets broadcast) and YES (Yankees broadcast).

Living outside of the Mets and Yankees TV market? No problem -- MLB.tv has you covered. You can take advantage of a seven-day free trial before payment begins for whichever of the two plans you choose.

There are options for an all-team pass ($29.99/month) and a single-team pass ($129.99/year).

Tylor Megill will start for the Mets. This season, Megill is 3-3 with a 3.10 earned run average (ERA) and 52 strikeouts.

Carlos Rodón will be on the mound for the Yankees. Rodón is 4-3 this season with a 3.29 ERA and 67 strikeouts.
