HP is entering the growing market for mini PCs powered by the Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell "AI superchip". The new HP ZGX Nano G1n AI Station measures just 15 x 15 x 5.1 centimeters, making it only about two centimeters longer and wider than the current Apple Mac mini. Nevertheless, HP's mini PC is expected to offer significantly better performance.
Thanks to the Nvidia chip, the device has ten ARM Cortex-X925 Prime cores, ten Cortex-A725 performance cores, and an Nvidia Blackwell graphics chip that is expected to reach AI performance of 1,000 TOPS. The graphics chip can access up to 128 GB of LPDDR5x RAM with a bandwidth of 273 GB/s, enabling it to process AI models with up to 200 billion parameters. If this is not enough, connecting two ZGX Nanos via an Nvidia ConnectX port is also possible. This port achieves a bandwidth of 200 Gbit/s, making it even faster than Thunderbolt 5.
