New Hampshire has named its new Teacher of the Year. Bedford High School teacher Candice DeAngelis received the surprise honor during a school assembly Wednesday. Colleagues said DeAngelis makes learning a foreign language enjoyable for her students. "I like to say that I get to know my students personally. I get to know who they are, what makes them tick, what makes them happy about coming to school and then what makes it hard," DeAngelis said. "And then I like to work with them in order to make their experience the best experience possible." DeAngelis has been teaching for 18 years and has worked at Bedford High School since 2016.
