The iconic late-night variety show "Saturday Night Live" is kicking off its 51st season on Saturday, Oct 4.

Bad Bunny will return to host the premiere episode, joined by musical guest Doja Cat. This marks the second time the Puerto Rican rapper -- who was also just announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl halftime show -- has hosted the show. He has also appeared as a musical guest on the show three times.

Bad Bunny previously hosted "SNL" on Oct. 21, 2023. His opening monologue made light of his non-native English. "My name is Benito and I'm very excited to be here on 'Sabado Gigante'," he said before correcting himself. He then teased the audience, stating, "People are wondering if I can host this show because English is not my first language. I don't know if they know, but I do whatever I want. So I can host this show in English. I can order McDonald's in English. I can have sex in English."

That episode featured several memorable sketches.

Though he was only the musical guest during the Season 50 finale, Bad Bunny also made a cameo in a Please Don't Destroy sketch titled "First Class," with host Scarlett Johansson. The Grammy-winning rapper played an air-traffic controller on his first day who had to save Johansson and the PDD boys after the airport lost track of their first-class flight.

Returning cast members include James Austin Johnson, Michael Che, Colin Jost, Bowen Yang, Chloe Fineman, Keenan Thompson, Marcello Hernandez, Sarah Sherman, Ashley Padilla, and Jane Wickline.

The new season will introduce five new cast members: Kam Patterson, Veronika Slowikowska, Tommy Brennan, Jeremy Culhane, and Ben Marshall.
