Little Nightmares 3 Offers Creepy New Trailer Set to "Alone" by Edgar Allen Poe

Supermassive teases even more horrors that Low and Alone must endure in their journey to escape the terrifying world of The Spiral.

Halloween may be several weeks away, but Supermassive Games is starting the nightmare party early when Little Nightmares 3 launches next week. Set in The Spiral, it focuses on two newcomers, Low and Alone, who attempt to escape. A new trailer is available and fittingly enough, it's based on a poem by Edgar Allen Poe titled, "Alone."

The words, "From childhood's hour, I have not been as others were. I have not seen as others saw. I could not awaken my heart to joy at the same tone", sound fairly creepy. However, they may also describe the character Alone. Perhaps even more foreboding are the words, "And all I loved, I loved alone." Nevertheless, "through endless nights and stormy weather," they face their "childhood fears together."

The trailer offers a few peeks at familiar environments (the Carnevale and Necropolis), but one sequence sees Low trapped in a hanging cage, with Alone sneaking to rescue him. Another scene involves a body bag with a noose around its neck tumbling out of a dresser along with the two characters. A hotel is also showcased with the duo taking the elevator to potentially more untold horrors.
