Vernon County police are seeking a suspect who reportedly stole a municipal pickup truck Friday and fled police at a high speed.
Police are seeking Nathan R. Gossman. He accused of stealing a truck owned by the town of Wheatland and leading police on a high-speed chase that began in Viroqua ended near Retreat. Gossman reportedly crashed the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.
Officials from the Vernon County Sheriff's Office say evidence found at the crash linked Grossman to the theft.
Anyone with information on Gossman's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 608-637-2123
