A manhunt is underway to trace two men after another suffered 'serious injuries' in a stab attack.
Emergency services were called to Georgina Close, in Thornaby, after a 39-year-old man was attacked with a large knife outside a property.
Cleveland Police said the incident took place at about 3.30pm on Tuesday, June 24 and are appealing to the public for help.

A force spokesperson said: "Officers have been conducting various enquiries as part of their investigation including reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses.
"As part of this they have released images of two men they are keen to identify and speak to.
"Officers are encouraging members of the public to get in touch if they know who the men are or have information that could assist with the investigation."
They are also appealing to the men directly to get in touch as they could have information to help with their enquiries.
