Acclaimed Miami restaurant Ghee Indian Kitchen will open this fall as part of the sprawling Star Metals complex within the Howell Mill Road dining district.
Owned by Chef Niven Patel and Mohamed "Mo" Alkassar of FEAL Hospitality, Ghee Indian Kitchen will take over the former Wagamama space at the Sentral apartment building next door to Northside Tavern. The building is also home to Sweetgreen and The Salty Donut.
Since opening in 2017, Ghee Indian Kitchen earned four consecutive Michelin Bib Gourmands and was named one of "The 25 Best Restaurants in Miami Right Now" by the "New York Times."

Known for its "farm-to-table" approach to Indian cuisine, Patel said that the Atlanta location will continue this mission by partnering with local farmers, in addition to sourcing fresh produce from his own farm, Rancho Patel, in Florida.
Ghee Indian Kitchen's menu blends traditional Southern cuisine with Indian flavors and ingredients. Expect dishes like samosa chaat, short rib dosa, chicken tandoori, duck biryani, several curries, and naan variations, as well as a 13-course tasting menu.
Look for cocktails such as the Mo'garita (Maestro Dobel Diamante, pomegranate, lime and ancho tincture) and the Golden Thread (saffron-infused Zyr vodka, agave and lemon), along with nonalcoholic drinks, including a chai lemonade and Tamarind Express (Seedlip spice, tamarind, and lime).
The restaurant will seat up to 140 people across its dining room, bar, and patio areas, according to a press release.
